East Algarve Golf, as the name indicates, is located in the eastern Algarve. Here, visitors can still enjoy the authentic Algarve, a region that does not suffer from high-rise buildings and mass tourism.

From east to west, there are 36 golf courses. A true Walhalla for golfers. Visitors who want to combine golf with other outings should visit Ria Formosa, a beautiful wildlife area along the coast from Quinta do Lago to the Spanish border. This is a great place for walking tours and bird spotting. Grab the car and travel along the magnificent beaches. Enjoy lunch in the harbour town of Tavira, or in a trendy beach establishment on the Praia Verde. After lunch, take a trip through the Algarve’s green interior where time seems to stand still. And maybe even visit Sevilla? Simone can give you the addresses of some great tapas restaurants. And if you have enough time, be sure to visit the fish market of Olhao, it’s the best one of the Algarve.
Bart gives lessons in the mornings at the Vila Monte Resort. The club offers various training facilities: a driving range, various pitch and putting courses and three practice holes. The resort is located in lush, exotic surroundings. But beware of falling figs, olives, and even worse: pomegranates and oranges! The on-course lessons at Colina Verde, a golf and country resort, are less hazardous. This is an enjoyable nine-hole course that is more challenging than it looks. The afternoon on-course lessons are given at this location.
